All the parts of the first Air France A380 F-HPJA have now arrived at the Toulouse Airbus factory.

Those parts will start being assembled on January 2nd 2008 and the aircraft (Msn 033) should make its first test flight in September 2008. It will then leave TLS to XFW to be fitted with its interior.
It will be delivered to AF in March 2009 and will start commercial services in April 2009 on CDG-YUL-CDG. Air France will be the first European airline to fly the giant Airbus.

Two more aircraft (msn 040 & msn 043, F-HPJB & F-HPJC) will be delivered in May and July 2009. They will enable AF to start services to NRT.
Three more aircraft will be added to the fleet in 2010.

4 Air France pilots are already qualified by Airbus to fly the A380. For the other ones, the training will start at CDG in October 2008.
For the F/A, the training for the certification will start early 2009.
