Même les 744 sont soumis à la turbulence avec perte de controle momentannée de l'équipage. Personne ne parle de problèmes sur les pitots

A British Airways Boeing 747-400, registration G-CIVP performing flight BA-85 from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to Vancouver,BC (Canada), was enroute about 320nm northnortheast of Vancouver in a descent from FL380 to FL360 at approx. 18:00L (02:00Z Jan 6th), when the airplane encountered severe turbulence with a windshear of 70 knots causing the crew to lose control of the aircraft temporarily. The crew was able to regain control, descended the aircraft to FL340 and continued to Vancouver for a safe landing. No injuries were reported.
NAV Canada said, that the crew reported a wind change from 120 to 50 knots and back to 120 knots associated with severe turbulence, the crew lost control temporarily.
The Canadian TSB reported a windshear of 70 knots and severe turbulence caused a temporary loss of control.
